Important: Viriditas Life LLC is not a covered entity under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). However, we voluntarily apply rigorous confidentiality standards to all client health information consistent with the spirit of applicable privacy principles and our professional ethical obligations.

If you are enrolled in the SAPIENTIA tier, your information will be shared with third-party functional laboratory companies solely to facilitate test ordering and result delivery. Each laboratory operates under its own privacy policy, which governs its handling of your information.

4.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental authority, or if we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Viriditas Life LLC, our clients, or the public.

4.4 Business Transfers

Program-related communications (session reminders, protocol updates, lab result notifications) are not marketing communications and are necessary for the delivery of your program. These will continue for the duration of your enrollment regardless of marketing preferences.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal and health information for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with applicable legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. In general:

  • Client intake forms, session notes, and health data: retained for a minimum of [5] years following the conclusion of your program, consistent with wellness coaching professional standards;

  • Billing and transaction records: retained as required by applicable tax and financial regulations;

  • Marketing contact data: retained until you opt out or request deletion, whichever occurs first.

Upon expiration of the applicable retention period, data is securely deleted or anonymized.
